Bobbi Smith, Los Angeles Urban League WorkSource Center-West Adams Business Services Representative, was an excellent host for the April 2006, P.O.W.E.R. Collaborative Network meeting.  She coordinated a marvelous array of presenters on career and business opportunities.  We want to thank also thank Angela Hill, Jonathan Jones, Denise Hollis, and the center’s director Ms. Kuliema Blueford for their outstanding contributions to this most successful meeting.

 

Lisa Wright, Starbucks Coffee Company, Marketing Manager for the Urban Coffee Opportunities (UCO) Division, presented great information and great gift certificates on behalf of Starbucks.  Starbucks and Johnson Development Corporation formed Urban Coffee Opportunities in February 1998 to enhance the development of Starbucks retail stores in diversely populated communities across the country.
