P.O.W.E.R. Collaborative Network
September 2004
Meeting Summary
The Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) was a delightful and fantastic host for our September 2004 P.O.W.E.R. Collaborative Network (PCN) meeting. The Flight Path Museum and Learning Center is a well-designed facility for supporting aviation knowledge. High praises go to the LAWA Team lead by Jessye Scott-Stafford, Michael Corrin, and Rose Cote. The extra refreshments and accommodations were extremely appreciative to all of the POWER Collaborative Members. We offer special thanks to our Flight Path Museum host Ms. Nancy Niles for arranging such a nice atmosphere.
Many thanks to Madelin Butler, President of Acquired Technology Resources (ATR) for sharing her experience as a recruitment specialist, entrepreneur, and spiritual being. Ms. Butler described how business, career, and life’s activities have a woven connectivity for carrying our business and human resources functions. Ms. Butler reminded us the indispensable responsibility to review and research basic labor statistics to determine the direction of business workforce trends in order to best help our clients prepare for their future. Ms. Butler was technically inspiring and spiritually motivating. We are greatly appreciative to Ms. Butler for taking the time to deliver such a special presentation. The attentive attendees listening to Ms. Butler now know the importance of working toward unconscious competency in our day-to-day activity. Ms. Butler can reached at (805) 552-0860, or mbutler@acquiredtech.com

The Career Choreographers of 2004 Award Plaques were all hand made from pure glass to symbolize;
- Workers that help communicate a Clear Vision of the Organization
- Workers that Create Break Through Performance Methods
- The fragile material of glass shows how care is taken to handle a person’s method for making a living, and
- Each plaque base has a unique shape to illustrate different business foundations. Therefore, these designs show how as job, training, and community specialist, we can manage similar objectives and obtain like positive results from different platforms of ground work.
