10 EAST, 405 NORTH. From the 405 NORTH follow From the South Bay directions below.
405 SOUTH, EXIT WILSHIRE BLVD – WEST.
At the end of the off-ramp KEEP RIGHT and proceed approx. 25-50 feet, EXIT off WILSHIRE BLVD, down a small incline to a STOP sign at the bottom .
This is the entrance to the Veterans Administration Grounds (it is not clearly marked)
At the STOP sign turn RIGHT onto BONSALL.
Drive up a small grade.
You will cross EISENHOWER.
Pass GRANT.
Turn LEFT at PERSHING. (If you pass Nimitz, you've gone too far.)
Proceed WEST along PERSHING. You will pass the rear of Building 116, an old, 3-story brick building.
PERSHING will turn RIGHT into MacARTHUR.
Follow MacARTHUR about 100 yards to front driveway. Park in Parking Lot # 20.
405 NORTH, EXIT WILSHIRE BLVD. – WEST (Do not take the Westwood exit)
The lane from which you exit the off-ramp will cross SEPULVEDA, go under the freeway overpass, and become a right-turn only on-ramp to the 405 FWY.
TO AVOID going back on 405 FWY,
From the exit ramp, MERGE LEFT ONE LANE to avoid ending up in the right-turn only on-ramp.
Soon after driving under the freeway overpass and after passing the 405 on-ramp, MERGE RIGHT onto the OFF-ramp that will appear on your right.
KEEP RIGHT and proceed approx. 25-50 feet.
EXIT off WILSHIRE BLVD, down a small incline to a STOP sign at the bottom.
