Meeting Summary
Wednesday, March 10, 2010El Camino College hosted a dazzlingly and most informative ‘True Colors, Community Resources, and Jobs’ presentation for the March 10, 2010, P.O.W.E.R. Collaborative Network (PCN) meeting. The PCN members wish to extend a special thanks to Jeanette Magee, El Camino College’s Assistant Director of EOPS/CalWORKs/CARE, who did a commendable job with establishing and coordinating a seamless meeting together with the El Camino College colleagues. Her all-embracing effort delivered Dr. Regina Smith, Dean of Counseling and Student Services, who provided excellent leadership with welcoming all of the PCN members to the campus. Also, Dr. Francisco Arce, Vice President of Academic Affairs, shared the growth and outlook about El Camino College.
In addition, Ngozi Ra, EOPS Advisor, gave a most brilliant presentation surrounding True Colors Personality Assessment, where her level of passion and experience was far beyond the attendees’ expectations. Equally, Jose Anaya, Dean of Community Advancement, Michelle Arthur, Director of ECC’s Economic Community Inglewood Center, and Dawn Reid, Director of EOPS/CalWORKs/CARE were each admirably helpful presenters as job development resources. Jeanette Magee can be reached at jmagee@elcamino.edu, or by telephone at (310) 660-3593 ext. 6052.
